We are a small independent yarn and fibre dyeing business based in the Cotswolds. Working in batches of 2-6 skeins, we use a variety of dyeing methods to achieve different effects. All of our yarns are dyed using high quality ‘Acid Dyes’ that have excellent colour fastness.

Andrew's scientific approach makes him an excellent dye-weigher and mixer! He learnt to knit socks several years ago and particularly enjoys developing his own colour combinations for our growing range of self-striping sock yarns, the majority of which he dyes himself.

Sharon splits her time between working as a freelance knitting & crochet technical editor, designing knitting & crochet patterns and of course, dyeing lots of lovely yarns and fibre!

We hand dye a large range of self-striping sock yarns, beautifully presented in ‘cakes’ tied with ribbon as well as a range of luxury lace, 4ply, DK yarns and fibre.

We also sell Eucalan, a gentle, no-rinse wool wash perfect for all your hand knits. Come and see our Needle Snugs, a must have accessory for keeping your fixed circular needles under control!
