Knitting and crocheting should be fun and the Knitter's Attic was born from a desire to create beautiful and unique handcrafted items. They sell yarn, needles, patterns, books, kits, accessories, gifts and handmade bags.

The team is headed up by Sharon, Sarah and Laura with help from Joan, Franchesca and other lovely knitters who have many years of crafting between them and offer help and advice, a knitting and crochet club and classes in both.

They are passionate about all things 'yarn' related and claim to eat, sleep and breath it!

Here at Festiwool HQ we love the fact that they offer a Layaway Service.

How does it work?

If you have your mind set on that gorgeous jumper, needing 10 balls of yarn, you can place your order for 3 balls (for example) and when you get to the checkout stage 'Check & Order' you can leave us a note in the 'order and delivery comments' box at the bottom of the page requesting us to reserve 7 more for you.

They will reserve these 7 balls of the same dye lot for anything up to 3 months... and when you're ready for more just buy them from the website as usual.
