From humble beginnings…
Established in 1987 The Knitting & Stitching Show was the original craft fair, the idea was simple to create a place where like-minded crafters could meet up, discuss ideas, learn new skills and shop for their annual craft supplies.

The Largest Textile Event in the UK
30 years on and we now run The Knitting & Stitching Shows throughout the UK and Ireland, with shows in London (Alexandra Palace and Olympia), Harrogate and Dublin. Each show has grown in size and substance. The Knitting & Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace remains our flagship show and welcomes 30,000 crafters every October.

The Knitting & Stitching Show Experience
The Knitting & Stitching Shows offer a craft experience like no other. The opportunities to learn new skills are vast; the show features a workshop program of over 250 classes taught be leading textile tutors, there is a dedicated Dressmaking Studio catering for beginners to professionals, The Creative Living Theatre showcasing daily demos by sewing celebrities and the chance to learn to knit or crochet at The Knitworking Station.

Each year we strive to bring the very best textile artists to the show with our series of professionally curated textile galleries. Past galleries have included work from Jan Beaney and Jean LittleJohn, Kaffe Fassett and Diana Harrison.

The show now attracts more exhibitors than ever before, each year we welcome 300 exhibitors from all corners of the world selling specialist craft supplies creating an unrivaled shopping experience.

Never stop Creating
We understand the importance of bringing something new to The Knitting & Stitching Show’s every single year – which is why so many of our visitors return year after year. New for 2018 we are bringing a brand new Craft Village to the show where you can sit and stitch with craft friends (old and new), an Artists in Action area which does exactly what it says on the tin and a champagne lounge.

Core Values
The show may of evolved over the years but it still remains true to it’s belief to be a creative haven for like-minded crafter’s to come together and share their passion for craft.

Come, learn and be inspired!
